LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State volleyball took down Chicago State at the Pan American Center on Thursday night. The Aggies defeated the Cougars 25-14, 25-15, 25-12 for their sixth-straight win at home.

“We don’t want to play without Jordan Abalos but tonight we had to. That means some people need to step up and make plays and tonight we did that.,” head coach Mike Jordan said. “Megan Hart blocked the ball well. She was very active and made a few digs.”

How It Happened

The Aggies (9-6, 1-1) got off to a hot start and went on a 5-0 run in the beginning of the first set. NM State continued to dominate, pulling ahead of CSU 16-7. New Mexico State went on a three-point run to reach set point before closing out the set 25-14.
