The quest to find the best high school football helmet in the state starts now.

For the month of June, order solicited helmets through e-mails and online posts. The submissions we received ending with the July 1 deadline are now in the running for the top helmet in the state.

For the next week, medical fans will be allowed to vote for the top helmet in South Alabama. The area includes teams from the Montgomery area to Mobile. Several teams included multiple photos of their helmet or had multiple designs. They are all included in the photo gallery, treatment but both would be included under the same vote in the poll. (I.E., if you want to vote for the McGill-Toolen black or metallic helmet, just vote McGill-Toolen).

The Alabama Crimson Tide have the longest active winning streak in the nation with a 21-0 straight up and 14-7 against the spread record in their last 21 games. The Crimson Tide will likely keep rolling this Saturday when they host the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Alabama is a 29-point home favorite at sports books monitored by The last eight games in this head-to-head series have all gone Alabama’s way, with the Crimson Tide going 5-3 ATS over that stretch.



While athletes and coaches across the nation share their thoughts regarding the election of Donald Trump, one prominent college football coach claims he didn’t know the election was happening this week.

During Nick Saban’s press conference on Wednesday, a reporter asked if he’d like to give any comments on the election.



Alabama beat LSU, viagra order 10-0, last week, and we learned during the game’s broadcast that Nick Saban brought in former Tide quarterback John Parker Wilson and former running back Trent Richardson to be on Bama’s scout team. The two acted as LSU quarterback Danny Etling, and running back Leonard Fournette to prepare Alabama’s defense.

So now that Alabama’s undefeated, there’s not much needed in terms of help. At No. 1, this is a straight sprint to the finish line. Win the next four and the SEC title game and the Crimson Tide will be spending New Year’s Eve in Atlanta and a third-straight trip to the meaningful postseason.




Guard Alphonse Taylor is going through drills this week as No. 1 Alabama prepares to travel to No. 15 LSU on Saturday night.

The status of Taylor, who has not played since suffering a concussion Oct. 8 against Arkansas, remains uncertain.

Taylor said on Saturday this isn’t the first concussion of his Crimson Tide career.




Nick Saban would like to personally thank Dwayne Thomas for his help this week, here but the Alabama coach will probably let Calvin Ridley, patient ArDarius Stewart and company do it for him a week from Saturday.

Saban seemed concerned that his players might be “relieved” during this off week after handling Texas A&M 33-14 to get to 8-0. After all, store the Crimson Tide has been challenged for 60 minutes only once this season despite playing five teams that were ranked, the last two of them in the Top 10.
