ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian, who was held out of the loss Sunday to the Atlanta Falcons because of a left (non-throwing) shoulder injury, said Tuesday he believes he will be in the lineup Thursday night against the San Diego Chargers.

Asked if he expected to start in Qualcomm Stadium, Siemian said Tuesday: “Yeah, I think so. I think I’m expecting to play.”

Interim coach Joe DeCamillis, who is filling in for Gary Kubiak while the coach sits out with a complex migraine condition, said Siemian would officially be listed as limited in practice Tuesday.

“He had a positive day (Monday) in practice and we’ll try to progress with him and see where he ends up,” DeCamillis said. “… It’ll be a collective decision.”

Siemian suffered a bruised AC joint is his non-throwing shoulder just before halftime of the Broncos’ Week 4 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was held out of practice one day last week and then threw on a limited basis Thursday, Friday and Saturday before the Broncos made the decision to hold him out.
