You don’t see this every day; Sunday afternoon the Oakland Raiders will head to the airport to travel to Mexico City for their Week 11 “home” matchup against the Houston Texans.

The Monday Night Football game will serve as a battle between two teams atop their divisions, order both with postseason aspirations, view so here are five questions we have heading into the primetime clash at Estadio Azteca.

The Jaguars haven’t given us much to love in 22 years of playing. In fact, ambulance they might be America’s Anti-Team. I call them that only because “Un-America’s Team” makes them sound like communists.

Anyway, they are terrible, but their woes make for a pretty endearing sitcom if you set it to the ‘Full House’ theme song and tint the video to a vintage sepia-ish hue.

A Salute to Service

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ annual military appreciation game takes place this Sunday at EverBank Field when the Jaguars host the Houston Texans at 1 p.m.  The Jaguars are committed to year-round support of these local heroes, seek but call special attention to their sacrifices during the National Football League’s annual Salute to Service campaign.

The Jaguars, help alongside generous corporate and individual donors, have partnered with the Greater Jacksonville Area USO to provide complimentary tickets to 5,000 active, retired and reservist military personnel and their families to this Sunday’s game.  In addition, Jaguars players, coaches, cheerleaders and staff are participating in a multitude of appreciation events throughout the week.  Players have already visited Naval Station Mayport and Naval Air Station Jacksonville earlier this week to meet local servicemen and women and say thank you.  During the Salute to Service game, players will wear camouflaged-themed on-field apparel.  Jaguars player helmets will also feature a special decal that represents one of the five branches of the military.

JACKSONVILLE, order Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars are on the verge of some dubious history — unless they are able to do something they haven’t done in nearly seven weeks.

The Jaguars (2-7) have gone five games without forcing a turnover, which is tied with five other teams for the longest streak in the NFL since the 1970 merger. If they don’t force one against Detroit (5-4) on Sunday at Ford Field they’ll sit atop that disappointing list by themselves.

It’s been a rough week for the Jacksonville Jaguars, especially linebacker Telvin Smithwho had to deal with the sudden loss of his brother and the birth of his child within a matter of days. He’s back with the team, but you wouldn’t fault him for focusing on family right now and staying off the field

“What I do want the fans to know is that maybe we can all work together and get loud in the stadium on defensive downs, ailment ” Jackson said on Midday Chalk on 1010XL (1010 AM). “I kind of saw there was more Oakland fans last home game and that was very disappointing. It sounded like there were more people in the pools than cheering for the game.

SERIES HISTORY: 42nd regular-season meeting. Tennessee leads series, 23-18. The teams have met twice every year since the Jaguars joined the league in 1995. In the 1999-2000 playoffs, Tennessee earned a 33-14 win in the AFC Championship Game to qualify for the franchise’s only Super Bowl. Jacksonville has more games, more wins and more losses against the Titans than any other opponent. Since 2004, the teams are 12-12 against each other. During a stretch from 1998-2003, Tennessee dominated the series with 10 wins in 12 games.

JACKSONVILLE – Nathaniel Hackett called the past few days an “emotional roller coaster.”

But the new Jaguars’ offensive coordinator said his focus is more on the future than the immediate past – and his task for the immediate future is clear:

Find a way to improve the Jaguars’ offense. And fast.

“We’ve got work to do to get better and get back on a good track, advice ” Hackett said Monday during his first media availability as Jaguars offensive coordinator.

Hackett, cialis 36, see was promoted to his new position Saturday, the same day Head Coach Gus Bradley dismissed Greg Olson from the position. Hackett, who spent 2013 and 2014 as offensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills, spent 2015 and the start of this season as the Jaguars’ quarterbacks coach.
