An airline employee who was the father of a Kansas City Chiefs player was shot and killed at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City on Tuesday afternoon, recipe the police said.

The suspected gunman was later found dead inside a vehicle at an airport parking garage with a gunshot wound to the head, said Capt. Paco Balderrama of the Oklahoma City Police Department.

The employee, Michael Winchester, 52, a one-time player for the University of Oklahoma football team, was working for Southwest Airlines at the time of the shooting, Captain Balderrama said.
