The mother-of-two who flagged down New York authorities to report an incident with her gymnastics coach boyfriend has been charged with his murder.

Nicole Addimando is accused of fatally shooting 30-year-old Christopher Grover at the apartment they shared with their two young children in Poughkeepsie, police said.

The 29-year-old suspect stopped a patrol officer just after 2 a.m. Thursday, saying there had been an “incident” with Grover at their residence. When officers arrived at the Dutchess Apartments complex, they discovered the coach dead from a gunshot wound to the head, the Poughkeepsie Journalreported.
