The Mississippi State football team released their poster schedule, ailment and with it, clinic the colors Bulldog fans are supposed to wear to home games this season.

One of the things a lot of fans look forward to each season is the poster schedule the Mississippi State Football team puts out every year like most schools. One of the things listed on it is what colors the school wants you to wear to this year’s home games at Davis Wade Stadium.

Dak Prescott is the talk of the NFL, for sale after leading the Dallas Cowboys to a 5-1 start. And his play so far has more than backed up the talk.

And on Tuesday, he earned another major recognition. Pro Football Focus named Prescott the NFL’s top rookie through the first eight weeks of the season. Prescott beat out Philadelphia’s Carson Wentz. Wentz was taken with second pick in the draft, while Prescott went in the fourth round.

The two square off on Sunday Night football, as the Eagles and Cowboys play each other.

Prescott has been praised for his lack of turnovers. The rookie set an NFL record for most passes to start and NFL career without an interception with 176. Per Pro Football Focus, Prescott has thrown only three “turnover worthy” passes, good for second in the NFL.

LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns and Mississippi State University announced on Thursday a two-game football series that will begin in 2018 and will conclude in 2019 with a Labor Day weekend contest in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

The home-and-home series will start at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field in Starkville on Nov. 3, 2018. The second game, with Louisiana designated as the home team, is set for Aug. 31, 2019 in New Orleans.

This seems to be happening quite often to SEC teams lately.

Mississippi State took on South Alabama on Saturday, sale a member of the Sun Belt that has only had a football program since 2009. That didn’t phase the Jaguars, though, as they went into Starkville and came away with a 21-20 victory to upset Mississippi State.
