CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After earning a seventh-place finish at the NCAA National Championships in 2016, Harvard will send ten men fencers to New Haven, Connecticut to compete in the NCAA Northeast Regionals on Sunday, March 12, hosted by Yale.

The No. 8 Harvard men’s fencing team clinched its 10th Beanpot title on February 15 at Boston College over Brandeis, MIT and host Boston College. Harvard has secured the Beanpot Trophy every year since the inception of the tournament in 2007.  The Crimson opened the competition with a 22-5 win over MIT, and continued with a 20-7 triumph over Brandeis. The final match for the Crimson was versus Boston College, with Harvard registering a 22-5 victory over the Eagles.
