SOUTH BEND, Ind., Dec. 1 (UPI) — Redshirt junior quarterback Malik Zaire is set to transfer from Notre Dame.

Originally, the school blocked his move to teams on its 2017 schedule, but now his release in unconditional, according to ESPN.com’s Matt Fortuna.

The Fighting Irish face Temple, Boston College, Georgia, Miami University, Michigan State, UNC, USC, NC State, Wake Forest, the University of Miami, Navy, and Stanford next season.

Zaire was originally allowed to transfer to only North Carolina on that list. He graduates in December and will be immediately eligible next season at any school.

The quarterback has Florida, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, and Wisconsin as his “primary” suitors, according to Irish Illustrated. Zaire missed the majority of the 2015 season with a broken right ankle.

Mishawaka, cost Ind.– The Notre Dame Chapter of Uplifting Athletes held their annual community bowling event Sunday at Strikes and Spares in Mishawaka. Members of the community were invited to bowl with a few Notre Dame Football players for a great cause from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost for this event was $30.

On the gridiron this weekend’s showdown between Notre Dame and Michigan State has major implications for any chances Notre Dame has at making a playoff run in 2o16.  Off the field this weekend has also major implications for Notre Dame’s chances to make future playoff runs with a banner recruiting weekend on tap for the program.

Notre Dame will have as many as nine official visitors who are currently not committed to Notre Dame  for the class of 2017 on campus this weekend along with a host of elite unofficial visitors for the class of 2018 on hand as well.  With the #8/12 Spartans in town, order Notre Dame will have an opportunity to make a statement to both the playoff committee and the recruits who will be making the trip to watch the Irish battle the Spartans.

South Bend, tadalafil Indiana – A Notre Dame football player viciously attacked a South Bend police officer on Saturday, case and he even pulled off the officer’s duty belt before being subdued.

Police were responding to a fight outside of a bar on Saturday when they located two women fighting. Notre Dame cornerback Devin Butler shoved one of the women and he was ordered by officers to back away. Butler then pushed the officers and the launched a full assault on one of them.
